What You’ll Need to Make This Creamy Strawberry Cheesecake
Each ingredient plays an important role in creating a cheesecake that’s rich, smooth, and full of flavor.
Cream Cheese: The star of the recipe. Full-fat cream cheese provides the rich, creamy texture and tangy flavor that make cheesecake so irresistible. For the smoothest filling, let it come to room temperature before mixing.
Granulated Sugar: Sweetens the cheesecake while balancing the tanginess of the cream cheese. It also helps create a silky, smooth filling.
Eggs: Eggs bind the filling together and give the cheesecake its signature creamy yet firm texture. Add them one at a time and avoid overmixing to prevent cracks.
Sour Cream or Heavy Cream: Adds extra richness and moisture, creating an ultra-creamy filling. Sour cream contributes a subtle tang that complements the cream cheese, while heavy cream produces a richer, silkier texture.
Vanilla Extract: A splash of pure vanilla enhances the overall flavor, adding warmth and depth without overpowering the cheesecake.
Fresh Strawberries: Sweet, juicy strawberries bring freshness, natural sweetness, and vibrant color to the cheesecake. Choose ripe, bright red berries for the best flavor.
Strawberry Jam or Strawberry Glaze (Optional): Brushed over the strawberries, the glaze gives the topping a beautiful shine while adding extra strawberry flavor and helping keep the fruit fresh.
Lemon Juice (Optional): A small amount of fresh lemon juice brightens the strawberry topping and balances the sweetness, making the flavors taste even fresher.
Using high-quality, fresh ingredients will give you the best flavor and texture, resulting in a creamy cheesecake with a buttery crust and a beautifully fresh strawberry topping.

minutesThis homemade strawberry cheesecake is irresistibly creamy, perfectly sweet, and finished with fresh strawberries for a beautiful and delicious dessert.
Ingredients
550 g of paste-like fatty cottage cheese 9%
400 ml of cream 30% fat
3 eggs
200 g of sour cream
150 g of sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
20 g of starch
a pinch of salt
150 g of fresh strawberries
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C.
- In a deep bowl, combine the eggs with sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
- Add the creamy cottage cheese, cream, and sour cream, and mix all the ingredients with a hand blender.
- Hull the strawberries and mix them with a tablespoon of potato starch. If the berries are large, you can cut them in half and use the halves to decorate the top. It looks very romantic.
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper and pour in the cheesecake mixture. Place the strawberries on top, gently pressing them into the creamy mixture.
- Bake for 40 minutes. Let it cool in the oven for 1 hour. Before serving, refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set and chill. You’ll end up with a very creamy, delicate, super creamy cheesecake.
- Serve with a cup of aromatic coffee or black tea with lemon. Mmm…
Notes
- Chill before serving. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 6 hours, but overnight is best for the richest flavor and clean, neat slices.
Add the strawberries just before serving. Fresh strawberries stay brighter and juicier when added shortly before serving. If using a glaze, brush it over the berries to give them a beautiful shine.
For clean slices, dip a sharp knife in hot water, wipe it dry, and clean it between each cut.
